Veterans Day Event: Networking & Sacramento Kings Basketball

We teamed up with our friends at Veteran Launch (A product of Main Street Launch) where we invited the community to meet local Sacramento veteran small business owners. Veteran Launch provided 40 tickets to the basketball game for the first 40 who register for this event.

4pm-6pm Networking
Food, Drinks, and Networking took place across from the Kings Golden 1 Center at the Foundation Restaurant & Bar.
6pm Walk to the Game
The Golden 1 Center where the Sacramento Kings play was just a two-minute walk from the restaurant.
7pm Game Starts
Great game vs. the Portland Trail Blazers! It was great to see the home team win where the Kings beat the Trail Blazers 107 to 99.
Veteran Launch
Veteran Launch is a program of Main Street Launch, a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) based in Oakland, California. They provide SBA small business loans to qualified California small businesses owned by veterans, active duty military personnel, and their families who are unable to obtain a bank loan. Veteran Launch has already deployed over $13 million to veterans to start or grow their small businesses. They have also helped them retain or hire over 650 jobs.
